Worth a Shot. Or Two.
I know, I know. Seems like I always started my post with: "haven't posted quite in a while". Well, I should really find other words to describe that :p
So, a friend offered me to do a make-up for some advertorial. And he also asked if I'm interested to be the model as well. I've no experiences in any of those. But I just gave it a shot. So I immediately made my portfolio in short noticed. The photos was taken by my digital camera. Ugh, I really need to make a 'serious' portfolio soon. And as for my photos, I asked a friend to take photographs of me because I had 2 days of preparation for that.
ps: A huge thanks to my dear friend Vina and Anggia for the ability to be my models.
I also did some make-ups for Vina for her gigs with her band Fever To Tell. And here's the pictures taken before the gig at NO2 for Global Radio's event. I can tell, there's a lot more techniques to learn.

Another Likely Story
For the past 6 months, I've been busy helping my mom preparing big brother's wedding. There are lot of things need to be prepared because we held the reception in 3 different places; Cianjur, Jakarta and Aceh. So, it was tiring yet so much fun. Many people suggested me to start my own wedding organizer. I'd be glad to help any of my friends to prepare their wedding tho'. But to make it as my profession? Hmm.. I really don't think so.
Unfortunately, right 3 days after the reception in Jakarta my eyes were infected by some virus that (the doctor suspected) I got from contact lenses. The doctor in Island Hospital, Penang even said that if I use anymore contact lenses I might go blind!
The pain lasted for about 2 weeks. I've been to 4 doctors until it finally back to normal. Why did I went to so many doctors, because I just couldn't stand the pain any more longer. One morning I felt like something sharp stabbing right into my eyes. And for a moment, there's a slight scary thought that I could be blind. Not only they were bright red, but there's also blood coming from both eyes. The infection made me looked like I've been crying for days non-stop. I even got a question "Why are you crying?" from a total stranger at KLIA when we're on our way to Singapore to see another doctor. It was so annoying having people stare and have pity on you.
Lucky me, I have a super mom. I don't know where did my mom got all the energies to take care of it all. She took me to Singapore to see the doctor while my brother's event is only days away. Thank God, everything went smoothly. Alhamdulillah :)
Last but not least, I just want to say happy wedding to my dear brother and his beautiful bride. Wish you a very happy life together until death do you part. Love you both so much ♥

A Little Updates From Moi!
Haven't posted anything quite in a while. There's so much things going on with my life. I've just got back from umra and finally resigned from my job. Actually, the plan for quitting the job had appeared since my first 6 month of work in 2007 but the comfy environment kept me hanging for a while. Then when I feel that all my guts got all together, I don't want to waste any more time. I just quit right away even when I don't have a new job yet. The main reason why I quit the job is because I can't see any future there. No matter how good I work, I won't get any promotion unless somebody quit their job. Well, I believe I can get a better job with a good pay soon. Besides, I still want to start to work on my theses. *optimism mode: on*
So, now I'm an unemployed with so many wishes. So here goes the list:
1. Get my master degree that had been postponed since 2 years ago.
2. Learn any other languages. French as priority.
3. Get into TOEFL/ IELTS preparation class.
4. Try to get scholarships to study abroad and don't forget parent's blesses.
5. Find a new job that is more settled with a better salary.
6. Be realistic!
So, now I'm an unemployed with so many wishes. So here goes the list:

One Shot for the Amateur
I went to a friend's wedding last night. Then when I got back home, I took pictures in my bedroom by using my blackberry. The background that shows my bed and pillow is such a turn off. So I decided to fix it at photoshop. Even though I'm not that good at it, but at least I tried. I go for white as background color to mix with my black dress. Beside, black and white is the most "safe" combination. Although the strokes isn't too neat, but the result wasn't that bad for such an amateur like me :)
